An outpatient suite, a board-certified anesthesiologist, and equipment meant for general anesthesia.

This page is limited to what we can state plainly. We do not pad it with stock portraits or invented credentials.

Anesthesia

Dr. Davis

Board-certified anesthesiologist. Reviews medical history, decides whether IV sedation or general anesthesia is appropriate in this setting, puts the patient to sleep, manages the anesthetic, and wakes the patient when dentistry is finished.

Additional training dates, hospital appointments, and a photograph are not listed until the office supplies them.

Dentistry / facility

Dr. Jason W. Dulac, DDS

Dentist and owner. Expanded the Springfield office and built a larger anesthesia suite so patients can be put to sleep here instead of defaulting to a hospital OR.

For Dulac Dental patients using this suite, Dr. Dulac performs the dentistry after the anesthesiologist has the patient asleep. Referring dentists who book the room remain the treating dentist for their own patients.

The setting

Outpatient, not a hospital—and not a typical dental chair with extra medicine.

The office was expanded specifically for this work: a larger room for the anesthesiologist, a full respirator, medications, and the equipment needed to put someone to sleep safely in an outpatient setting.

Dedicated suite

A purpose-built anesthesia room in the office at 6122 Brandon Ave, Springfield, VA—not a borrowed OR block at a hospital.

Airway equipment

A full respirator / anesthetic machine is in the suite so general anesthesia—when indicated—can include managed breathing, not only IV medicine.

Screening first

Not every medical history belongs in an office. The anesthesiologist reviews history and can decline a case that should not be done here.

Hospital operating rooms remain the right place for some patients. The goal of this clinic is to offer a careful outpatient alternative when that is appropriate—and to make that alternative more accessible and less expensive than the usual hospital path in this area.

Affiliation

Part of the same office, a different purpose.

This clinic is affiliated with Dulac Dental of Springfield. Cleanings, implants, aligners, and other general dental services are not offerings of this site. Those live on the dental practice website.
